This term means to change the position, direction, or focus of. Having been part of another certifying body since 1994, I realized the time had come to “switch”. I was not receiving the value for the membership fee they expected me to pay. Having known Linda Lockwood for a long time, I decided to give CFIU a try and I am glad I did. The re-certification fee was far less than the other organization and the test for the Luxury Vinyl Course was a good challenge having inspected vinyl for many years.
The saying goes “Can’t teach an old dog new tricks” well, I beg to disagree, the course taught what I have missed and gave me a better understanding. I look forward to taking additional courses from CFIU. Their online course saves time and money from traveling to distant locations.
