The hard surface class I participated in was to enhance my knowledge base since I am a fairly new inspector. The real-life examples and exercises in the class helped me become a much better inspector. The manuals that come with the class are invaluable, as well as the testing tutorials are something I use on a weekly basis.
And best of all the instructors are there for questions and help when you need it. They truly have your back when you are out in the field or in your office preparing reports.
I cannot recommend these classes highly enough.
