Few inspectors/consultants have had the opportunity to mentor under an experienced inspector/consultant.
Until recently, I had not been aware that CFIU offers 7 highly experienced inspectors committed to mentoring, education, and specific questions. – This is a great help when time pressured; I have options. – As a CFIU inspector/consultant, you are also afforded the opportunity to do ride-along’s with a CFIU mentor.
CFIU offers robust online manuals for all flooring categories. I refer to these manuals prior to each inspection. This resource saves time during the inspection and report writing.
Report writing education is also available and is very clear as to how a report should be written. I consider this a must-do option.
The depth of the manuals, training, and support is excellent.
