July 01, 2001, to December 19, 2017: Served as quality control & claims inspector for one of Eastern Ontario’s largest floor covering distributors. Duties of this position included: Carrying out quality control inspections of all hardwood and laminate floor installations. Attending occupied home inspections to determine the cause of failures of all flooring products. Preparing letters of disclosure to clients documenting the cause and effect of product failures. Ongoing training of flooring installation contractors on all flooring products to ensure conformity to manufacturer and industry standards. Providing technical information and assistance to sales and service staff. Preparing and presenting lunch and learn seminars for company sales staff. Evaluating new products. Providing expert witness testimony in legal proceedings. |
