CAREER HISTORY |
| Charles Yelvington installed at Hesslers carpets in Ft. Myers FL for 18 years in the commercial and residential dept. He became a sales rep for Sunflooring until their closing , after that he became a sales rep for Cooper Distributors specializing in hard surface, he was then employed by Mastercraft distributors in Miami. After seeing some inspectors reports that were not correct he decided to become an inspector himself. He attended NWFA for a week long seminar and on the last day he took the test and become an inspector. Out of 35 people that took the course only 4 passed in 2005 he was one of 4. In October , 2023 he was certified by CFI University. He then started a large installation team for Home Depot employing 40 people. He then sold that company. He downsized to 7 crews for Lowes. Charles then retired temporarily he is currently doing inspections on all types of flooring. Since 2005 he has done over 485 documented inspections. Certifications: Armstrong Certified, Certified Flooring Installer with a class 4 master degree Residential & commercial, Congoleum Certified, Certified Lead paint inspector, Wilsonart Certified Laminate, Robbins wood Certified, Anderson wood certified, Pergo Laminate and wood certified, NWFA Certified. And now CFI certified. |
